Our History

UNCW Ice Hockey was founded in October of 2004 as a club team playing in division-three of the American College Hockey Association (ACHA). The team made the move from division-three to division-two of the ACHA after their 2018 appearance in Regionals where they defeated the University of Florida, but were ultimately eliminated by Georgia Tech.
